Boats and projects
This section covers boats and projects described in the channel’s history; it is not a current ownership register.
Leading the Escapade have a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.
They have replaced their rigging and some of their electronics.
Boat preparation and maintenance also feature in Lauren Landers’ story.
Journeys and notable episodes
Apart from sailing Australia when they were younger, most of their cruising has been in the Mediterranean.
As they are a younger channel, they haven’t had a chance to collaborate with other YouTubers. However, there are some similarities between them and Kristina’s Travels who are currently sailing up Australia’s east coast.
They have had a relatively stress-free experience while in the Med, apart from overstaying their Turkish Visa and getting into some serious trouble.
For more cruising accounts, La Vida a Vela covers Mediterranean sailing, while Sailing La Vagabonde follows a family’s broader life afloat.
Income and funding
The channel’s income cannot be established from views or subscriber counts alone. Advertising rates, audience support and commercial agreements vary, while filming, travel and boat expenses affect what is left after costs.
The earlier profile describes the following sources of revenue. These do not establish a verified monthly earnings total.
- Patreon and PayPal donations
- Affiliate links to Wise (online bank)
- Running their GoFundMe account
- Allowing ads on their YouTube channel
