Sailing The Far Side has a custom-built 1987 Tradewinds 50′ yacht. It was originally their dad’s boat.
Refits and equipment
Upgrades to their yacht include:
- Mantus marine anchor (they sent it for free)
- They use an iPad with Navionics as their main navigation in the cockpit
- An air compressor to fill up their dive tanks
- B&G Zeus 3 Chartplotter and AIS
- Microwave
The sisters are continuing to upgrade the boat and keep it in tip-top condition.
